We are pleased to inform you of the 1st ECOWAS-JAPAN BUSINESS FORUM scheduled to hold from 28-29 October 2015 at Hyatt Regency Tokyo.

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), a regional group of 15 West African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo) is one of the most integrated regional economic communities in Africa and the future strategic partner for Japan in her pursue of deepening involvement in regional infrastructure developments in the form of public-private partnership towards the 6th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD IV) next year.

The ECOWAS Diplomatic Group in Tokyo and ECOWAS Commission organize this Forum to provide an exceptional opportunity for Japanese business community to know better and understand the West African region and further identify areas of investments especially in the sectors of Banking & Finance, Infrastructure Development (Transport, Energy and Telecommunications), Agriculture, Mining and Culture & Tourism.
