Ambassador Godwin Agbo was in Fukuoka Prefecture on 27 January 2010 on economic trip to attract investors to Nigeria. While in the Region, he paid courtesy call to Governor Wataru Aso.
The Ambassador and his economic team later visited the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation's Power Device Plant, which is the sole manufacturer of semiconductor chips in Japan. These chips are used for inverters, automobiles and home electronic equipment for energy conservation.
